Crafted by Hand

My enjoyment of hunting and wanting the best sounding calls has led me to focus exclusively on creating premium precision turkey calls. I have designed my own unique double slate calls and work alone in my shop to hand craft each call and striker.

Each of my calls are different, no two are exactly alike. Much of the wood I have harvested locally in the Arkansas Ozarks and have collected special pieces for years to use in making calls and strikers.

I hand finish every call and striker with three or more coats of satin polyurethane to ensure a durable product. Although the beauty of the call is important, re-creating authentic turkey sounds is my main goal.

The Calls

Each call is hand-turned from unique Arkansas hardwoods. Lightning-struck walnut, figured maple, Ozark cherry, and more.

From Tree to Call

Every call starts with locally harvested Arkansas hardwood, milled and selected by hand in the shop.

Milling

Logs are milled on a portable bandsaw mill right on the property, cut into slabs and blanks for drying.

Harvesting

Raw logs sourced locally in the Arkansas Ozarks from trees that have reached the end of their natural lifecycle.

Selecting

Each board is inspected for grain pattern, figure, and character. The best pieces are set aside for calls.
